Priority enabled content based forwarding in fog computing via SDN

As the number of Internet Things (IoT) applications increases, an efficient transmitting data generated by these to a centralized cloud server can be challenging issue. This paper aims facilitate transmission utilizing fog computing (FC) and software defined networking (SDN) technologies. To this end, it proposes two novel content based forwarding (CBF) models for IoT networks. The first model takes advantage FC reduce computational delay. Based on model, second makes use prioritization concept address timely delivery critical while ensuring rate delay requirements. Extensive simulations are conducted evaluate proposed uncover their impact throughput, delay, loss metrics. According results, ensure low In addition, has ability transmit more effectively.
